: Ja jwawtik k’e’en; This is a story written by Gerardo Sántiz Sántiz, a student in his sixth semester at the televised high-school in Bajucú, Municipio Las Margaritas, Chiapas, México. The author participated in a literature creation class that was held in March and April of 2007. He won first prize for his piece in Tojol-ab’al in the Bolom contest organized yearly by the State Center for Language Arts and Indigenous Literature (CELALI).
