| Description | This is one of the recordings of ch’ak ab’al made in Tojol-ab’al for the Tojol-ab'al Language Documentation Project, actors 028 and 047, recorded in Tojol-ab’al in 2004-02-10. The theme is sjobjel yi ja nanal tatali yuj ja koltanumi, which is where the priest asks the parents of the woman and the godparents if they approve of the wedding. They do this before the priest declares them husband and wife. This is part of ch'ak ab'al in Tojol-ab’al, known in Spanish as boda (wedding). The investigators and producers were 017 and 022.
