The Bloody Tears of a Cloud
Phuyup Yawar Waqaynin (The cloud’s bloody tear) is a novella based on the life of Camacho Rios’ grandparents, and is a documentation of traditional Quechua life. The novella narrates the story of a community in the area of Anzaldo, a small town in the Cochabamba department in central Bolivia. The novella touches on the daily life and social structures of the community, including involvement in the Revolutionary Nationalist Movement under the leadership of Victor Paz Estenssoro (four-term President of Bolivia). The story follows multiple generations in the community from 1940-1974., Phuyup Yawar Waqaynin (La lágrima sangrienta de la nube) es una novela basada en la vida de los abuelos de Camacho Ríos, y es una documentación de la vida tradicional quechua. La novela narra la historia de una comunidad en el área de Anzaldo, una pequeña ciudad en el departamento de Cochabamba, en el centro de Bolivia.
