| Description | This film documents three interviews. First with doña Elena Rodríguez Vázquez: she tells the story of her life; some dates concerning the municipality, what clothing was like some sixty years ago; and how brown-sugar loaf is made, which was her work in her day. Later, doña Juana Jiménez Méndez and Juan Montoya Jiménez talk about how they used to celebrate the day of the dead; they detail which foods they served to the spirits of the dead, although in the same manner they revisited the topic of traditional clothing, but they don't go to much into that. At the end, we are directed to the home of Señor Enrique Montoya Santiz and Josefa Jiménez Méndez. The former relates the broad strokes of his life history and very short story about corn, basing it on some plants that he had there at his side. |
