| Description | This video documents diverse activities related to the sowing of corn: the prayer for the sowing performed by Sr. Domingo Sántiz Gómez; the arrival of his helpers; the preparation of the sowing stick "Awte'al"; and the organization of the beginning of the sowing. In the course of this activity the landowner is interviewed, asking him what extent the sowing should cover, the kind and preparation of special food for the sowing that the landowner offers his collaborators which is: bitter corn gruel "pajal ul", bean tamales "petuul", etc. |
