| Description | Defendendo nossos Saberes [Defending our Knowledge] is a film produced by the students of the Tunui Center of the Intercultural Indigenous Degree at the Federal University of Amazonas, with the Laboratory of Visual Anthropology at Federal University of Pernambuco. The film shows how the health services of DSEI-RN [Special Indigenous Health District-Rio Negro] deal with the case of an Indigenous patient who was bitten by a snake. It shows how the Indigenous knowledge of this region of the Upper Rio Negro is seen by health care protocols. Film made in 2016. |
