Description | The collection consists of linked audio and video files of two Ecuadorian Lowland Quechua dialects: Nothern Pastaza Quichua [ISO 639-3: qvz] and Tena Lowland Quichua [ISO 639-3: quw]. The recordings were made in June and July 2019 at the Iyarina Andes and Amazon Field School near Tena, Ecuador (Napo Province). The materials consist primarily of narratives, most of which were elicited in both Quichua and Spanish for comparative purposes. Transcriptions, translations, and interlinear gloss documents will be deposited as they are completed. The title of each resource contains the dialect's ISO code and the speaker's initials to facilitate navigation. |
