Description | Dr. Adrian is an ethnomusicologist and Fulbright scholar who has conducted research on the music of Cañar and Loja Kichwa indigenous festivals that occur according to the agrarian calendar, as well as the effects of migration the inter-generational transmission of traditional music in these communities. Since 2008, she has been a faculty member in the Department of Music and Theater at St. Katherine University, St. Paul, Minnesota. She is an AILLA Fellow who collaborated on the National Endowment for the Humanities grant "Archiving Significant Collections of Endangered Languages: Two Multilingual Regions of Northwest South America" (PD-260978-18), Patience Epps and Susan Kung, PIs. |
