Description | Elmer Enriquez Bermudez is an translator of indigenous languages and also a student in the School of Communications as well as an accountant. He works as a professor in the language of Garifuna for Gahfu, a foundation from the United States, Imbruts and Radio Centro America, that are also from the U.S. Apart from his work as professor, he is a writer in the language of Garifuna that make him succeed in publishing two books for learning Garifuna and a dictionary to preserve the language. He has 10 years experience working with topics about racism, discrimination, xenophobia, and other forms of intolerance. Along with his long experience as accountant in different parts of Guatemala, he also has experience in spreading the topic of "Decenio Internacional de Afrodescendientes" from 2015 to 2024. |
