Description | This collection contains materials produced as part the NSF grant Transforming Access and Archiving for Endangered Language Data Through Exploratory Methodologies of Curation (Grant No. BCS-1653380), 2016-2020 with Anthony C. Woodbury and Susan S. Kung as Principal Investigators. The materials include conference presentations/posters, workshop slides and short video tutorials explaining concepts and procedures critical to language data curation. These slides and videos were used for the course How to Organize your Materials & Data for a Language Archive, which was given at the Institute for Collaborative Language Documentation (CoLANG) at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida, June 18 - July 20, 2018. The slides, videos, and presentations were adapted into the Open Educational Resource "Archiving for the Future: Simple Steps for Archiving Language Documentation Collections," which is available at https://archivingforthefuture.teachable.com/. This collection contains English- and Spanish-language versions of these materials. All materials in this collection are Public Access. This material is based upon work supported by the National Science Foundation under Grant No. BCS-1653380.
