DescriptionThis is one of the recordings of sjob’jel produced in Tojol-abál for the Tojol-abál Language Documentation Center. It was recorded on 2012-07-29. The theme is sjob’jel k’in k’e’en. The recording is of an interview about a celebration in a cave that takes place on May 3rd every year to pray for the harvest of corn. The recording was made so that children of the future will be familiar with the theme. Marco Antoñio López Mendez did the interview.
