| Description | A man and his wife went hunting upriver, and the husband was killed by a Black person. The Black person, who wanted to have the widow for himself, was killed by her as revenge for the death of her husband. Recorded between 1966 & 1968. Note: This story appears in the resource NOA003R041I001. Narrated by Narrator #2. [Note: It is definitely a different voice than that of Elías Chamarra. The tape box indicates the narrator could be Diomere, Audolino, Agusto, or (Koidam). However, it is not probable that it is the last three people, since the location of recording does not seem to change and since Audolino, Augusto, or (Koidam) almost never visited the house of Elías. ] |
