: Isla Kalau ethnobotanical studies; This article documents the vascular flora of Kalau island, located in the Bernardo O’Higgins National Park, protected area within the Kawésqar ancestral territory. This is a first approach to the available ethnobotanical use by the Kawésqar people of vascular plants from Kalau Island. 80 vascular plants are registered; 79 of them are native (99%), with 29 being endemics for Chile and Argentina. Main uses are: 43% food; 30% building material for huts, canoes, ropes, and containers; 21% fuel; and 13% medicinal. Drymis winteri is the plant species with more registered uses. The most common medicinal use cited is wound healing., Este artículo documenta la flora vascular de Isla Kalau, ubicado en el Parque Nacional Bernardo O'Higgins, un área protegido dentro del territorio ancestral kawésqar. Este el primer acercamiento al uso etnobotanical disponible al pueblo kawésqar de las plantas vasculares de Isla Kalau. Se registran 80 plantas vasculares; 79 nativas (99%), con 29 endémicas para Chile y Argentina.
