AILLA's Technology Upgrade

We are pleased to announce that after a very successful fundraiser, we are proceeding with our technology upgrade. The work began in late March 2015, and it will continue during the Fall 2016 and Spring 2017 semesters. What does this mean for AILLA's users and depositors?

Users: We do not expect the upgrade to affect AILLA's user interface in any way. All of the AILLA records and materials will be available to users during the entire process. Nevertheless, if you encounter problems while using the archive, please contact AILLA to let us know.

Depositors: During the duration of the upgrade, AILLA will NOT accept any digital materials to be added to the archive. We apologize for any inconveniences caused by this temporary ingestion freeze. Thank you for your patience as we work through this major transition. If you have any materials --either digital or analog--that you would like to add to AILLA, please contact the AILLA manager for more information. At the end of the upgrade, AILLA will have a new deposit procedure that all depositors will be asked to follow. The new procedure will be posted on the Depositor Information page.
