| Description | This bundle consist of three texts: 1) a description of the rites of the deceased and the afterworld where the dead arrive, 2) a discussion about the things a widowed person must do, what happens if a woman or a man obtains another partner in the afterworld, when a couple is married and the obligations of the man and the woman in the case of death of their spouse. The materials one uses to make a cross for the novena, and how to clean the house of a person who has deceased, 3) Sixto describe the festival of All Saints Day. He describes a dream he had with the dead and talks about what one should or should not do when the dead return. Sixto also talks about the cases when he has encountered the dead in his own life and how there should be solidarity between the living and the dead. This text was recorded outside of Sixto's house in his patio with a Tascam HD-P2 Solid state field recorder and Shure SM10A Head-worn microphones. |
