DescriptionThis bundle consist of seven texts of various themes: 1) an autobiographical text about Alfredo's experience crossing the boarder and looking for work in the United States, 2) a talk about obtaining official papers like the Visas and Passports, 3) a discussion of how Alfredo became a carpenter and mason; this work in the community and how it is done, 4) explanation and description of how to construct a brick house; the costs and the persons involved, 5) description of the mason apprentices, their role in construction and how much they earn, 6) a description of how Alfredo may collaborate on a given project. And a description of how the houses are built today. A description of the work he does in the countryside as a farmer, 7) a description of what kinds of work Alfredo has to do aside from mason work. The planting of corn, beans, coffee, bananas, sugar cane and how he finished his formal education.

Recorded with a Tascam HD-P2 Solid state field recorder and Shure SM10A Head-worn microphones in his patio in front of his house sitting between the kitchen and the living areas. His daughter and wife were also present.
