DescriptionThis text is a talk by Apalonia Morena about how people lived before the 1950's war in Teotepec. Apalonia and her husband, Guadalupe Carmona, both moved to San Martín Caballero with many other members of Santa Lucía Teotepec and formed a small community close to the Oaxacan coast as a result of the Teotepec conflict.

Recorded with a Tascam HD-P2 Solid state field recorder and Shure SM10A Head-worn Microphones in Doña Apalonia's kitchen made from palms.
