| Description | In 1981 James Howe made a visit of about ten days to Sasardi-Mulatupu in eastern San Blas (primary field site of anthropologists Joel Sherzer and Carlo Severi). While there, Howe recorded two cassettes with Saila (Chief) Muristo Pérez at home in Pérez' house. The text covered here is is a medicine admonishment (ina uanaet), a form amply described and analyzed by Sherzer (1983) and Chapin (1983). |
